What we catch
It’s well known nationwide that South Australia is blessed when it comes to the quality and quantity of our fish species. The iconic Snapper (Pagrus auratus) would by far be the most sought after fish in local waters. Making our relatively shallow gulfs their home for a good part of the year, Snapper are accessible, excellent on the table and are a great sports fish.
Coming in a close second is the famous South Aussie King George Whiting (Sillaginodes punctatus). Found throughout our state waters this excellent table fish is very popular with charter guests.
Other species we encounter during our day charters include Southern Calamari (Squid), Blue Swimmer Crabs, Small Sharks, Garfish, Australian Salmon, Trevally, Flathead and a range of reef fish.
Targeted Species: Yellowtail Kingfish, Samson Fish, Southern Bluefin Tuna, Blue Groper, Sharks, Blue Morwong, Nannygai, Trevally.
